Daily Consumption: 10 units/day
Days Remaining: 100 รท 10 = 10 days
Formula: (Lead Time + Safety Stock Days) ร Daily Consumption
When stock drops to this level, you should place an order.
Example:
Lead Time: 7 days
Safety Stock: 3 days
Daily Consumption: 10 units
Reorder Point: (7 + 3) ร 10 = 100 units
The average number of units sold per day, calculated from your recent sales history.
